Nanny – Nurse :
Nannies selected by My Sweet Days are mainly experienced childcare workers, having either a background in childcare education or as a nanny/au pair. They are employed by you to provide education and care for your children, stimulate your children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth through play and activities in a nurturing, loving environment.
Nannies are generally responsible for new-born children up to 16 year old teenagers. They may, according to your wish, reside with the family or be present only during the day.

Tutor – Private Teacher :
A Tutor or Private Teacher is a highly qualified professional and experienced individual who assists students academically. Whether they are struggling in a particular subject or wishing to excel in another, a tutor will assist, evaluate, motivate, develop and integrate their students learning.
Tutors tend to go to their student’s home and tutor them often on a one to one basis. Many families choose to hire a tutor: to assist their children to improve a language, to boost their grades at school, they wish for them to pass exams, gain entry into an international school or assist with homework.

Governess :
A Governess is a qualified professional employed by parents to educate the children in their private household. Governesses are highly educated individuals who fill the role of both teacher and academic mentor for the children
They help the children to perform at their best, building long-term academic resilience and life-long intellectual curiosity. Generally Governesses are not responsible for the general care giving tasks but are primarily focused on education.

Private Maternity Nurse :
Private maternity nurses or baby nurses are highly trained or experienced nannies with extensive newborn experience, nurses or midwifes.
The Maternity Nurse will be there to give you advice and provide support. She will help take care of your baby and assist you day and night. She will help you adapt to your new life and will give you confidence. The Maternity Nurse will help you identify and establish the daily routines of your newborn. She will assist with breastfeeding/bottle feeding, bathing and many other aspects of new born care.
She will also assume all the useful maternal functions, including ensuring the cleanliness of the baby’s room, doing the daily laundry and sterilizing bottles.
The Maternity Nurse will usually be on call 24 hours a day for 5 or 6 days a week however this can be negotiated. Most of our maternity nurses only offer live-in care as they are based internationally.
